I look for old globes at garage sales at cheap prices, I don't like to pay more than a few dollars for them.
How I repurposed it
The globes were painted into pumpkins and snowmen. Sand any rough spots on the globe and prime the pieces if necessary. Ideas can include snowman, jack o'lanterns or Santa. Clown faces could be fun too.
Tips and Tricks
- Find old globes in sturdy condition, these cost about $5. at garage sales.
- Sand any rough spots and prime with inexpensive spray primer.
- Paint and decorate the globe as desired.
- Use a sealer to protect the design.
