The 2012 Readers' Choice Awards on Collectibles.About.com
This is the second year for this category and like last year, it's a highly competitive one. There are many different
ways to go about selling your collections and vintage goodies online, but the question is which one is the best in terms
of easy to use,
best return and most affordable? |
Remember: - You may vote once a day between February 22 and March 21, 2012
- Be sure to return to the main poll page and vote in all the 2012 Collectibles Readers' Choice Polls.
- Winners Announced on March 30, 2012
- Yes, we do ask for a log-in using an email address, Facebook or your About.com log-in, but it's only to keep the voting fair. It will not be used for anything else, no one can even see it, not even me!

- THE WINNER Bonanza
A repeat winner from last year, Bonanza captured 39% of the vote.
I can't call this website the new kid on the block anymore, but Bonanza is one of newer selling venues making the finalist
list and was, in fact, the winner for 2011. But don't let that be a deciding factor in the voting, unless it's still the
best. Learn more: Bonanza, Online Buying and Selling

- Runner-up with 26%: TIAS
It's the granddaddy of online malls and has been around since 1995, the same year as eBay! They have numerous
tools to help the online seller and a good search system for buyers. Learn more:

eBay
eBay is not the only place on the Internet that people flock to, but it might be hard to prove to some folks.
It's often been cited as helping bring about the change in Collecting habits over the years,
which could be both a good or bad thing, depending on your outlook.

- Ruby Lane
An online mall that has been around for many years, Ruby Lane has the strictest requirements of all the ones on the finalist list.
Newer items and reproductions are not allowed to be listed or sold via their mall.
