Over the course of the year, Pat has collected some 30 Tom Brady items including a toy truck, a Mustang, Christmas hat, dinnerware set, rocker, clock, watch, blanket, key chain, min helmet, lunchbox, jack-in-the-box, figurines, cards, pins, pennants, pictures, two bobble heads, three bears, figurines, jackets, jerseys, t-shirts and pants, and even a 4 inflatable player. Of the entire collection, the lunchbox is Pats favorite.
Of course I knew who Tom Brady was, says Pat, but I didnt put it all together until after my son was born. It was early in 2004 that I began collecting, buying him his first jersey just in time for the Superbowl. That also was when I first got into eBay.
My oldest son had been buying and selling there for some time, and I was looking for a Little Tykes Treehouse for the baby. I also decided to start searching for Tom Brady merchandise. Id say that 95 percent of our Tom Brady items came from eBay. On average, I buy three or four items on the site every month at prices that vary with the value.
Pat cites several advantages to doing her shopping on eBay. The items on eBay are so reasonably priced, she says, and you usually can find anything you want without leaving your home, so its unbelievably convenient.
She adds, I think all the sellers Ive dealt with have been very nice. Ive never had any kind of problem with a purchase there. If you take the time to read the feedback, you can pretty much avoid any possible problems. The people at eBay are also very cordial and efficient. Theyve always gotten back to me very quickly with answers and advice. Now Ive even got my husband hooked.
Pat says, The bottom line is it is fun to log on to eBay because you can discover things there that you cant find anywhere else. Right now Im looking for a Tom Brady jacket in an infant size for my son. The smallest size Ive found, so far, has been an 8, but if anyone does make it, I know Ill find it on eBay.
