We all know that feeling. We finally receive that fragile piece in the mail and it's very well packed. So well packed that when the box is opened, styrofoam peanuts wind up all over the room. Even when I try and be careful, it doesn't seem to matter. Those darn things seem to multiply and explode when the box is opened.
My solution? I grab a fabric softener sheet made to use in a the clothes dryer, rub it all over my hands and arms, then I can start picking up the mess without static and clinging to me. I also use the sheet to "mop" up the pieces on the floor.
