This was part of the Mystery of the Week in February 2012.

This would be a great piece for those who collect farm collectibles, spinning/weaving pieces or just loves antique and vintage decor.

The wood was in lovely condition for the age and is estimated at over 100 years old.

  • These well used pieces were found at a local vintage mall, selling for $20. for the set. Sold prices for similar carders included a set for $50. which included a spindle.
The teeth/wires on the pieces were pretty well-used, with lots of little bits of cotton still attached.
