Even though more than four decades have passed since the death of Marilyn Monroe, she is still considered a sex symbol and popular icon. Marilyn lived a relatively short life, but packed so much into it that her pop culture influence still lives on today and includes many fans that were born long after she passed on.

Authentic Marilyn Monroe items continue to get high bids, as an example this Marilyn Monroe snap shot and model release was signed as Norma Jean. Auction was held by Julien's Auctions in October 2005 and sold for $3120.
