Although Lawrence Welk collectibles may not be in the same league as 'I Love Lucy' memorabilia, there are numerous collectors specializing in Welk memorabilia. Collector Susie Dowdy says "there are lots of people that bid against me on eBay"! She has been collecting Welk memorabilia since the early nineties and is one of those that collects her "profession". Dowdy has been the national publicist for 'The Lawrence Welk Show' since 1989.
