Maybe I've been living under a rock, I knew there has been a licensing bonanza for Disney's High School Musical movies, but really didn't know too much about the movies. So when I got the new Topps HSM3 trading cards, I went to the experts -- girls ranging in age from eleven to eighteen. These are the ones that will be talking their parents into letting them go to see High School Musical 3 when it's released on October 24.

High School Musical 3 will be the first theatrical release and if the first two movies are any indicator, will be a huge fan hit. The first two movies were the most successful of all Disney Channel Original Movie properties.

For those adults who might want to know more about the actual movies, Thirteen year old Rebekah says "the story lines are a little weak, but it's worth watching for the singing and dancing. It's about friendships between a group of kids who go to school together."

Posters appear to be the collectible of choice, with dolls, cheer leading uniforms, jewelry, and DVDs rounding out the list of these HSM fans. Other items mentioned included souvenirs from the show High School Musical on Ice. If the reaction of "my experts" is typical of HSM fans, it looks like the new Topps cards will also be a sought-after collectible.

And who are their favorite characters?
Troy (He's so cute!), several picked Gabriella, Tayla and another fan couldn't decide between Ashley and Vanessa.
