A recent chat with Stephen Church of Church’s China (The UK Gift Company) was a perfect way for an English gentlemen to explain to someone living in the middle of the US just what's going on and how it all works.
First of all, Church explained that it's a public holiday in the UK, with street parties and celebrations. The pubs and bars have even requested the right to be open longer hours on Royal Wedding day. Whenever there is a big day of celebration, people often like to remember these very special events with a piece of memorabilia and commemorative. Luckily, there is no lack of memorabilia or royal wedding souvenirs!
Picture above shows workers at Aynsley China producing commemorative plates, cups and mugs to mark the engagement between Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton on November 17, 2010 in Stoke On Trent, United Kingdom. The historic china company has rushed through production of collectable china after the announcement of their royal wedding.
