Susan K. Elliott has written about art, antiques and collectibles since she was a college student covering Sotheby Parke Bernet auctions in New York. She grew up in a publishing family and became editor of three national collecting magazines at age 20. Since then, she has interviewed more than 300 collectibles artists around the world, and written numerous books, magazine articles, newsletters and Web content about collectibles and business subjects.
Her most recent book was The Whimsical World of Boyds Bears (Reverie Publishing). She currently writes for Collector Editions magazine and various other clients through her business, The Write Word.
Elliott lives in Dallas with husband Jerry Hamm and daughter Lauren.
