Recently I had a chance to visit with Michael at his New York City apartment and was delighted to find out more about the man behind these exciting pieces of art. I also met (up close and personal) Posey and Spencer, the two Pugs that inspired the City Dogs ornaments.

Michael Storrings' Scenes of New York City Collection are the most exciting of all the travel ornaments. The original 2005 pieces included Times Square and Central Park. There were also two exclusives for Saks in 2004 and 2005.

In 2005 Landmark Creations announced the Spode Blue Italian and Spode Blue Room ornament collections. These hand blown and painted ornaments were a welcome addition to not only the traditional home, but to those of us who love beautiful glass of all kinds.
