Vandor's new cookie jar (they call it a container) is different than anything you've ever seen. The base of the jar is ceramic, the middle is tin and the top is ceramic. Using tin for the middle allows the artist to really bring these characters to life. In the case of the Superhero containers, the tin portion depicts full colored comic strips around the entire jar. The "front" of the jar has the full figure bursting through the comic strip. Other similar container/jars include Marilyn Monroe, Betty Boop, Elvis Presley and Batman.
