It's felt that there are three different head molds for the Little Red Riding Hood jars, with numerous variations on the face painting.
Shown are lids for various Little Red Riding Hood jars. Since these were all hand-painted, variations will certainly occur, but this should help you figure out if the right lid is on the right base.
The different molds include:
- The poinsettia jar with the face is looking straight ahead and not bowed down.
- The molds for heads of the closed basket and open basket are slightly different, but it's difficult to tell the difference just by looking at them. It's noted that the tops do not sit quite right in the base when switched.
