Regifted Ceramics, Pitching Machine , Lump of Coal

Submitted by Susan:
I received a gift from someone who I knew did wonderful ceramics, except one year she gave me a piece that was -- let's just say not a favorite -- and she went on to say that she made it. However, etched into the piece on the back was another person's name. I think a definite regift. We just enjoy getting together without gifts now.

Pitching Machine submitted by Keith
One year for Mother's Day, Jason's dad bought his mother a pitching machine. I don't think she ever used it, but dad and the 3 boys sure did.

Lump of Coal, also submitted by Keith:
Several years ago before my sister married my brother-in-law (they had been dating for 5 years at the time) my mother gave her son-in-law "to be" a lump of coal in a ring box with a note that said, "I hope that Joyce doesn't have to wait for this piece of coal to turn into a diamond before she gets one." We all had a good laugh, even my soon-to-be brother-in-law.
