The first Radko jar was a very unusual Saks exclusive Nutcracker, next was the Woodland Series Santa, followed by the Jolly Jalopy and Kris Kringle jars. But these were just the tip of a series of holiday and special-themed jars from Radko.
The Radko "look" in jars is a little bit over the top, usually lots of gold and glitz, oversized with great colors. The faces and figures are well detailed and remind me of the Fitz and Floyd attention to detail. There is a reason for this, several Radko employees admitted to me they were formerly with Fitz and Floyd. But it all boils down to one thing -- the cookie jars are terrific! Radko cookie jars are well worth adding to your collection, but beware -- they are costly.
