Spooky Art Shows for Collectors

If you're a collector of Halloween art, then you've most likely heard about these shows. Question is, have you been able to make it to one yet? One of these days I hope to be at the right time and place to shop for OOAK Halloween art that is showcased.
Halloween Postcards, Crafts and Clipart

Loads of clipart, including postcards to use for your Halloween crafts. Although most of these project ideas can be used for any holiday, the ones shown are Halloween inspired. All the projects use vintage postcard prints for the artwork.

Halloween Decorating

Literally hundreds of pictures are shown in the Halloween galleries from almost two dozen collectors. These pictures will give you loads of ideas for your own spooky decorating. And for cookie jar collectors, there are more Halloween jars shown than you might have ever imagined existed.
Halloween Articles

Looking for more information on collecting Halloween? My favorite articles are listed here, including the one that will help you decorate with an antique look, but at budget prices.
Vintage Halloween Games and Costumes

Although people don't play games as much as they apparently did in the early part of last century, if you do throw a party, perhaps a vintage game is in order. You'll have fun just reading all the games included in the list. To make that party complete, a costume from the roaring twenties could be the finishing touch, unfortunately these might be a bit hard to reproduce. Hint: Crepe paper is the main supply needed.
Halloween Patents

Finding old patents is a great way to find out more about our antique collectibles. Although I haven't figured out the quickest way to do it, I still have managed to come up with some interesting treasures. These patents for Halloween collectibles from 100 years ago are fascinating to look at. Bonus --- the illustrations are good to use as clipart!
Books for Collectors

Books with amazing graphics, some have prices, others have ideas for decorating and crafting. The one thing they have in common is they are all great resources for collectors of both antique Halloween and vintage pieces.
