I have always loved Christmas for its warmth of spirit and the joy the season brings. I have collected for about 25 years, however in 1994 our one tree fell over not once, but twice, destroying most all my treasured things. Some were handed down from my mother and some were hand made by me as a child or by my children. Both my husband and I cried. So I went out and bought plastic ornaments that year and stuck up another tree. We got rid of the first tree. Thought maybe we had poltergeist in the tree!
1996 was the start of a whole new collection. I bought my first Breen from the Neiman Marcus catalog, the Beeskep. Still really didn't know who Patricia was then. I also collect Santas and rabbits and if I liked it, I bought it and that led to several trees.
