Farris' Orange Feather Tree

Jeannie Farris
From Jeannie:
I've been collecting Breen ornaments for 9 years. Before collecting ornaments, I collected pottery, primitives and folkart items. Most recently I have been purchasing items from the Scott Rucus line and Elaine Roesle's Snowchildren.

We just moved into an older house and I am remodeling most of the rooms. The dining room is the only room completed at this point, so I placed a small table by the window for my orange feather tree. While I usually place Halloween collectibles thru out the house, this year most of my collectibles are still packed away! Restricting my Halloween decor to the Dining room, I placed the feather tree in a Longerberger basket which has a pumpkin face. I placed black fabric in the top of the basket to hide the stuffing inside the basket that secures the tree. I also have a few of Scott Rucus pieces, an OWC ghost lamp and my favorite Redware Halloween plate on display.
