Halloween collecting is quite popular and while it will never reach the numbers of Christmas collectors, it's a strong number two in holiday collecting.
Although antique/vintage Halloween stuff can be very expensive and hard to find, Halloween collecting doesn't always have to be costly. Lots of new stuff is available for reasonable prices, as well as new terrific (and marked) reproductions of antique Halloween items.

- Beware of reproductions being sold as antiques, check the book!
- Prices for new items can vary widely, e.g. new glass ornaments for your tree can range from $5. - $100. Artist pieces will also range from just a few dollars to many hundreds.
