MIA

Mia amongst the glass!

It's always exciting for me to meet the person behind the company, so when I finally had a chance to meet Mia it was a delightful experience. Mia gave me a tour of some new pieces in the line, especially a few favorites -- a one piece glass spider web and a funny pink elephant. Mia also mentioned her web site has a video of a glass ornament being made -- be sure to watch the making of a Van Gogh Starry Night.

Art lovers and glass enthusiasts have long embraced Mia's glass ornaments. And her exclusive museum editions are eagerly collected by art lovers around the world. But that is not all she offers to ornament collectors. Wild, yet whimsical free blown animals, Santas in every guise, a nice assortment of tree toppers and one of my (many) passions -- ornaments depicting New York City landmarks and icons.

Ornaments can be purchased at retailers across the country and also online at Da Polonia, Mia's retail outlet.
