Sweet Ribbon Candy ornaments would be darling on a gingerbread or candy tree. A few years ago I saw pictures of various glass candy ornament pieces displayed on a buffet console. It was a great way to display ornaments and I try to do it every year with a few of my "edible" pieces.
This traditional glass ornament is crafted by hand using traditional old-world methods. Molten glass is mouth-blown into a mold, then a solution of liquid silver is poured inside the mold. Each ornament is then hand painted.
