Perfume Bottle Pictures and Values

Each year, held in conjunction with the International Perfume Bottle Association's annual convention, an auction is held of rare and collectible perfume bottles. The auction is open to the public and consists of consignments ranging from pieces in the $100. - $200. range all the way up to the many thousands of dollars. The 2010 event is held the first weekend in May at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Va. The auction is conducted on the Friday eventing before the convention, April 30th.

The auction is organized by Ken Leach of Perfume Bottles Auction, the only American auction company dealing exclusively with perfume, as well as the author of Perfume Presentation - 100 Years of Artistry. Nicholas Dawes (Antiques Roadshow appraiser) is the auctioneer.
