One a recent trip to Dallas, we decided to take a last minute side trip over to Canton's First Monday Trade Day sales. Even though the trip wasn't planned, the car was still filled by the time we headed home.

One of the friends who went to Canton with us was a brand-new Texan. She had just moved from California and for some reason had a table, but no chairs.

Although there is everything at the flea market, we didn't expect to find the needed chairs in the first five minutes. She checked the oak chairs out and decided to think about them a while.

When it was time to leave, if the chairs were still there an offer would be made. Happily the four chairs were still there, we looked them over out a lot more carefully and all was well. These were old, but not antique chairs and had the look she wanted.

The four chairs were priced at $300., the buyer offered $200, the seller countered at $250. SOLD!

A bit of maneuvering and rearranging, the chairs were packed into the SUV and taken home. When placed around her old oak table, the size, look and condition could not have been better. And at a price of $62.50 each, a bargain!
