eBay Live is an event that every avid eBayer should experience at least once and this year over 15,000+ people felt that way. Attendees came from all over the world to Las Vegas to join the fun and learn more about the business aspect of eBay.
The "convention" consists of seminars, round-tables, evening entertainment, key-note addresses and celebrations. During the event vendors are set-up pitching their wares (although they are not allowed to actually sell in the hall), there are also gathering areas for the different categories of eBay, with employees available to answer questions.
There are lots of fun ways vendors use to get folks to stop with games and giveways.
