Advertising Cookie Jars

Over the years advertising cookie jars have been distributed in several different ways, here are a few examples of how these jars were produced.

• Advertising cookie jars have been offered by the company itself, as a way of advertising their goods, such as Quaker Oats.
• Other jars have been made by companies that are licensed to produce them and sold in retail outlets, think of the many Coca Cola jars that have been sold over the years.
• Advertising jars have also been produced and used by the company as special gifts, awards or available in employee stores only. Avon, Heinz, Keebler are some that come to mind for the last category.
