Penguins are a popular animal for collectors and although they are not limited to holiday collectibles, that's the time of the year that most new penguin items start showing up. It's not quite clear why, as penguins are not from the North Pole!

A really clever jar, made by Disney as a limited edition of 350. The jar is quite large and is very well done. Because of the manner in which the jars were sold, the prices for them ranged from $55. to over $200. The prototype of the jar sold for $500.
