Humpty Dumpty Jars

Humpty Dumpty Cookie Jar
It's always fun to come up with new ideas for displaying collectibles. When it came to the Humpty Dumpty jars I was stymied -- what to do? They didn't really look bad just sitting on the table, but surely a better display could be arranged. Jim Gervaisof Ann's Secret Garden gave me the inspiration for this display. He is well known for his innovative designs in floral arranging, so I knew his brain was the one to "pick".

He looked at the jars and asked a simple question -- Do you have any bricks? It was a lightbulb moment for me. I washed off the extra bricks in the backyard, scrounged around the house for nursery rhyme books (another of his suggestions) and came up with this fun display. Some artifical ivy was wound around a few of the jars and some of the bricks, along with a few other Humpty Dumpty collectibles. I must admit, this arrangment brings a smile to my face when I look at it!
