Ne'Qwa Art

Started in 2001:

Michael Thalasinos and Jim Sexton founded Ne'Qwa Art in 2001 after they became intrigued with the beauty of the inside the glass painting technique.

What is Ne'Qwa?:

In Mandarin, Ne'Qwa describes a centuries-old artistic tradition of painting on the inside of glass. The Ne'Qwa Art company is bringing this art to a new level with licensed art from a variety of known artists. The ornaments are manufactured in a facility in China.

Designers and Artists:

Jim Sexton serves as the company's head designer. The line includes art from such licensed artists as Thomas Blackshear II, Annie Lee, Clare Mackie, Susan Winget, Warren Kimble, Steward Sherwood and Ted DeGrazia.

2007 CIB Winner:

Christmas Cats was a first place winner in the 2007 Collectors Choice Awards in the Ornament Category.
