Do you catalog the collection?
Yes! We have a list of every Pony ever made and we put a check mark after we have acquired it. That's how we know that we have over 1000 ponies and over 1000 pony accessories.
How important is the condition of Ponies?
That is a great question to ask. Some collectors must have them in mint, boxed condition. If we don't have the Pony, we'll buy it in any condition. But we work on getting an upgrade soon. For our collection, we do not have to have Mint-in-Box or Mint-in-Package. We do want the Pony to look nice with good hair, clean body and she must have a good, clear symbol.
WHAT? I have not mentioned the symbol? The Ponies have a symbol, which is a picture on each side of their hips. These would be considered "regular" ponies. Then there are some Ponies that have symbols all over their bodies, these are TAF or Twice-As-Fancy Ponies.
