When asked about their collection Veronica was kind enough to send pictures, give tips on collecting, along with answering some of my questions. She even gives some ideas on prices you might pay on the secondary market.
What do you consider your most valuable item?
That's hard to answer, valuable money-wise or valuable to our collection? We have the Mint-in-Box Porcelain Magical Kingdom, UK Pony Carriage with Princess and ring bearer and a huge palace called Paradise Estate. Also we have all seven of the Tales Ponies, Pink Argentina Boutique, the Bushwoolies, Jem/My Little Pony Llama, My Little Pony Ironing Board, My Little Pony Musical TV, My Little Pony Bubble Gum Machine, and hair dryer/comb/mirror vanity set.
What are the most sought after items?
We wish we had the huge My Little Pony Kitchen Set, a wooden stove and the large wooden toy box.
Do you have a "Holy Grail"?
Rapunzel! Rapunzel is one of two Story Book Fairy Tale Ponies and is gorgeous. She has extra long golden hair and a very cute symbol. We also want the conch shells for the Sea Ponies.
Favorites?
I believe the 1980's ponies are, and will always be, my favorites.
How much your collection have you found on eBay?
We have over 500 positive feedbacks on eBay and that is all My Litle Pony items. Michelle has many International Ponies purchased through eBay, including ponies Macau, Italy, Greece, Germany and the United Kingdom.
