The Finished Product

Penguin Salt Shaker

Barbara Crews

And here is the finished product.

Costs:
I created this ornament from stuff I had around the house and in my craft stash. The only extra cost was the shaker that sold for $2.99 for a set.

Hints:
There is no wrong way or right way to do this craft. Use whatever you have handy, fringes, yarns, ribbons, whatever.

I took apart an old wooden Christmas garland for the beads, but any types of beads or even buttons can be used, anything that can be threaded on a wire.

I used an 18 gauge wire for the project, but it was a little too heavy for the project. If I was purchasing floral wire, I would use a smaller gauge.

A gold cord was attached to the top to hang the ornament, but it also can be hung from the wire loop.
