Dateline: December 2000

Now, tell me all about your newsletter, Celebrate threesixtyfive

I felt there was a big void in mailed newsletters following the final issue of Glitter. I had some time and I knew I wanted something to occupy my time in a productive way. I also wanted something that would be stimulating. I have some journalism and writing in my background, so I thought why not give it try! Genette Fuller and I worked together for the first three issues.

The newsletter debuted in October, 1999. (Genette Fuller was a partner for the first three issues) It is mailed out on a quarterly schedule and has approximately 40 pages that cover all ornaments -- but the majority are glass.

The excellent covers have been done by Bev Verbeke of Dallas. Scott Smith has also worked on the newsletter. He did the Larry Fraga layout in the last issue, a four-page color center spread of Patricia Breen Saints and religious ornaments for the Christmas issue.

Subscription is $48. per year, and sample copies can be purchased for $12.
