Questions and answers with Bill Quinn of Christmas Tree For Me.
I love the look of the realistic trees, but apparently they're not good for those who like to fill their trees with ornaments?
The tree is hyper-realistic and as the name implies, this looks like a real tree and is made of polyethylene. It's interesting the way the tree is made -- they go out into the woods,
looking for that perfect tree and branch specimen, pack it in dry ice and then send it off to make a mold. A very
expensive process.
These are beautiful trees, but do not lend themselves to those who like to decorate with lots of ornaments. The ornaments can not be hung on the ends of the branches as the middle piece is very thin with no support, similar to young growth. The ornaments have to be hung at least three inches back from the ends of the branch or it will fall off.
This is tree is 100% polyethylene, but another choice would be a hybrid, a tree that has the realistic look, but the wired branches.
