By Barbara Crews, About.com

Are you still doing some last minute shopping? Check out these quick picks that would be great gifts and many places will still let you get your stuff in time for the holidays.

1. Judith Miller's Collectibles Price Guide 2007

Looking for a different book to give or buy for yourself? Miller's Collectibles Price Guide for 2007 is a treasure you can give yourself or a favorite collector friend. As one person mentioned -- you see stuff, you never see in any other books! The pictures are terrific and the "closer looks" and "collector notes" are invaluable to both the serious and beginning collector.

2. Decorative Arts by Judith Miller

A large and sumptuous book that is not only informative, but quite decorative -- just as the title implies. As with all of Miller's books, the photography is the best in the business! Decorative Arts covers and explains the different styles that have been popular over the year from the classical Georgian to contemporary. Do you know just what the Arts & Crafts style is? What about Art Deco? You will after reading this book!

3. Antique Trader's Antique & Collectibles Price Guide 2007

This is America's #1 selling price guide, and no wonder, it's well edited, colorful and easy to use. As with the previous editions, "Antique Trader's Antique & Collectibles Price Guide 2007" will also bring you many happy hours of browsing.

The book is a great addition to your library and a terrific gift for friends who love to collect and shop for antiques.

4. Kovels' Advertising Collectible Price List

Another welcome book from the Kovels! My first love in collecting was, and still is, advertising, but I've found it can be hard to find out more about certain products and specific companies. That problem should now be solved with this small book chock-full of advertising collectibles and the companies that produced them.

5. Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles

Ted Hake is the king when it comes to pop culture and this book just elevates his throne a little higher. It's an incredible book that every Disney enthusiast should own.

6. Buy, Keep or Sell

An amazing book with terrific images, an excellent layout and useful resources. I can't say enough good things about this book from Judith Miller -- it should be on everyone's bookshelf. No, let me change that to be on everyone's coffee table. It's attractive enough to be a coffee table book and it should be kept within reach. You'll be referring to it often, especially when coming across something you might not be familiar with.

7. Saving Stuff

The Smithsonian is America's attic and Saving Stuff covers just about everything we could or would find in our attic. "Don's Rules" in each chapter tell us how best to display, clean, preserve, store and handle our stuff. But what I like best is the chapter "Saving the Stuff Only a Parent Could Love", which includes children's artwork, a time capsule and even macaroni mosaics. Finally someone who recognizes what these mementos mean for us, how something doesn't need to be valuable to have value. This is a book that I happened across by accident and it's already one of my best book buys this year!
