This book is a perfect fit for the Fenton Glass collector. I've always felt Fenton Glass is "pretty" and this is a pretty book. It's a book that Fenton Glass collectors will enjoy adding to their library. Best of all -- it's full color!

The book takes you through the decades of Fenton, breaking it down to five eras. 1905 through 1930s, 1930 through 1955, 1955 to 1980 and 1980 through 2007, with a separate chapter on Carnival glass. Each era chapter has interesting tidbits in the side margins, relating to the history, individual pieces or perhaps people involved with Fenton Glass.

Fenton Glass is one of the few collectibles that hasn't been deliberately reproduced, but according to Mark Chervenka's chapter Cautions About Dating Fenton Glass, buyers need to be wary. "The biggest problem is not fake or spurious copies, but incorrectly dating pieces of legitimate Fenton." It's certainly a helpful chapter for one who is a new collector or an occasional seller.
