Three Halls of Shopping
Palmer-Wirfs Antiquing and Collecting in Portland
The weekend entry fee is $5. Outside the entrance to the show were tables with well-known appraisers, busily looking over the treasures people brought in. (Harry Rinker was one of the appraisers.) There is a small charge for the appraisals, but it all goes to charity.

Three large halls were filled with about 1400 friendly dealers with a vast array of merchandise. Furniture, toys, pottery, glass, paper, advertising -- and in price ranges for every budget. I didn't really feel that any particular antique or collectible was in the majority, it was just a potpourri of different merchandise.
