Witch Theater

Paul Gordon/Scott Smith
Paul's works are all one-of-a-kind (OOAK), he will even hand-sculpt the body parts like faces and hands, and does not make molds of his work. Each sculpting is individually done for the particular piece that is being created. "I will use antique dolls if I can and just about anything antique that you can imagine." Paul's art is very unique and at times it might even take over a month just to create one of the larger figures and he said how "very thankful he is that there are collectors who love his work and want those large elaborate pieces".

The figures or characters depict just about any and every theme, "bunny rabbits and Santas are how I started, but now it's blossomed into all sorts of things". Halloween is a particularly big theme right now and one that has an avid group of collectors, especially attending shows like Ghoultide Gatherings.

Although sizes can run from as small as 7" to as large as 4', most are in the 12" to 36" range. Witch Theater, shown above is a whopping 48" tall!

The prices for his OOAK art work also has a wide range, selling from $100. to over $7000, with the average artwork price in the $250 - $1000 range.

ESC Trading Company
If Paul's original pieces are a bit out of your budget range, consider ESC Trading Company. They've licensed his works for several years. For 2011 the line is a group of 12" Santas, the designs change every year.
