What's it All About?
The purpose of the No-Drip Bottle Collectors Website is to help educate the collector, make it easier to locate and discover the different variations.

What Are They?
No-Drips are a thin paper sleeve that was used to keep the water from the ice coolers from dripping on one's clothes. The first, from Renfroe, were small pleated bags with a sealed bottom. The bottle was put in from the top.

The second group was not pleated, were wider with an open bottom, and were slid over the top of the bottle. Then the bottom was folded over to keep water from dripping.

Who Made Them?
No-Drips are known by several names, No-Drip, dry server, bottle bag, bottle sleeve, bottle protector, and dri-server.

The companies that manufactured them had their own names. For example:
  • D. J. Renfroe Corporation used the Dry Server. The Renfroe Corporation was located in Thomasville, Georgia.
  • .
  • No-Drip Company used No-Drip Bottle Protector. This company was in Dallas, Texas and later, Chicago, Illinois.
  • Kleerwrap Inc, a division of Dri-Hand used Dri-Hand bottle protector. Kleerwrap Inc. was located in Mundelein, Illinois.

Very little is known about the companies that manufactured these little gems. We are in the process of trying to rectify that problem and will add any and all information relating to these companies on the website as we find it.

Other Collectibles Include
Dispensers for the No-Drips are also a big collectible. The dispensers were produced from about 1927 to approximately 1950. with four different versions known at this time. The dispensers originally were sold for twenty-five cents and, later on, were given free to the vendors. These are pictured on the No-Drip website.

Why Collect Them?
They are inexpensive. Small and easy to store or display. Most are readily available to buy at shows or on the Internet.

Like many other collectibles, there can be numerous variations of the same item. For example, many collect the Hobbleskirt bottle. The variations of this bottle can be dates, trademarks, cities, countries, etc. It is the same with the No-Drips. At this time we have documented over fifty-five different individual and variations.

But like any other collectible, it is the hunt that makes it worth while. Man is a hunter, and it is always the one more we are looking for that makes us collectors.

If you have any that are not listed, please bring it to our attention. The more we can learn, the more we can share with other collectors.
