Halloween and Fall Decorating 1999
Using Collectibles in Decorating

It's never too early to start decorating for the holidays and here are a few ideas taken from around the house. There are new and old jars, glass ornaments, and rag dolls are incorporated into the decorating.

On a large hearth in the living room, two displays were done. On one side of the fireplace, my collection of pumpkin jars. (Along with two non-jars pumpkins)

The other side of the fireplace, a few other collectibles are dressed up for the fall with Halloween hats and pumpkins in the John Deere wagon.

Winnie the Pooh has his own corner of the living room, actually he is perched on the tv. Last year's Halloween jar, and candy dish, along with the current Halloween jar, a bean bag and Radko ornament are all here.

A little difficult to see, but next to the Living room, an open dining room has several of the more spooky jars, with Radko ornaments hanging from the Chandelier. These jars include the Warner Bros Batman Bust from several years ago, Metlox Raccoon (w/mask), Nightmare before Christmas, Witch from Warner Bros, another fun witch jar, new bat jar and some ghost jars.

Then in the kitchen, a fun and bright collection of scarecrows are on the kitchen table. These include the California Original Scarecrow, a new scarecrow pumpkin head jar from this year, and a scarecrow from last year.
