According to Susan's daughter Jennifer, her mom has always been a Holiday Addict. Their home would be decorated for every holiday. Even during Jennifer's elementary school years, her mom would create special ornaments and favors for the entire class. But, it wasn't Christmas ornaments that were her first creations. The initial ornaments in the Susan Cherry line were the Halloween ornaments of Windy Webbers, which has hooks to hold a ghost, pumpkin, candy corn and a witch hat. This arrangement is an ideal way to decorate for the holiday with ornaments, without putting up a tree. She has since adapted this idea to a patriotic mobile -- an Uncle Sam hat with hooks to hold individual ornaments of your choice, and it is the inspiration for her new member club pieces. The most popular ornaments in the Susan Cherry line look good enough to eat -- the ribbon candy, candy sticks, doughnuts, cupcakes, gingerbread boys and gum drops. Decorate a buffet or kitchen counter with these yummy pieces, just make sure no one tries to take a bite. The candies are very realistic!
