Lots of children leave cookies and milk out for Santa, but what about the Easter Bunny? We can't let him starve! I know he would enjoy these cookies, but instead of milk, how about a glass of carrot juice? I make this cookie recipe at Easter using the pastel-colored Peanut M&M's, but at Christmas, I use the red and green ones.

Peanut M & M Cookies

1 cup (2 sticks) softened margarine
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2-1/2 cups self-rising flour
Peanut M&M's
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

With electric mixer, blend margarine and peanut butter until smooth; add both sugars and mix well. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Add flour, mixing well. Add 3/4 cup slightly crushed Peanut M&M's and stir until blended.

Drop by heaping teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet and slightly flatten with spoon. Top each mound of cookie dough with crushed Peanut M&M's.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
