About Joe Caro

Joseph J. Caro is a well-known writer and photographer who has written feature "collector" articles for national and international magazines for many years. A skilled appraiser, arbitrator and businessman, Caro works as a business development consultant in Southern California, when he isn't busy writing or working with the Cowboy Collector Network.

Caro was editor of "Cowboy Collector Network," a newsletter for cowboy enthusiasts, that is no longer published. The newsletters included articles, information about reproductions, new Hoppy finds, updates on eBay prices and classified ads. Past issues are still available.

A Hoppy collector for over twenty-five yars, Joseph Caro has written two Hopalong Cassidy books, the first was "Collector's Guide to Hopalong Cassidy Memorabilia" published in 1992 by L-W Books, Inc. In 1997 "Joe Caro's Hopalong Cassidy Collectibles" was published. And wearing his other hat, skilled consumer arbitrator, he also wrote "Consumer's Guide to the California Lemon Law" published in 1990.
