Having said that, let me share with you the absolute fabulous pulls associated with my break. For starters I pulled an autographed jersey card of Curt Schilling. In addition, I also pulled 2 other game-used jersey cards including those of Kurt Ainsworth and Mark Teixeira, a front-runner for the American League Rookie of the Year award.
As stated on the box, I also pulled 5 short-prints including Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Ichiro. I also pulled a game-used jersey/base Winning Materials card of Jim Thome, which was serial-numbered to just 350!
The base cards are simply gorgeous. Oh, and I didn’t get one duplicate in the entire box either. Each 18-pack box comes with a suggested retail price(SRP) of $5.99 per pack.
This effort is truly one of the best by Upper Deck this year. With autographed jersey rookie cards of Hideki Matsui coupled with those of established superstars such as Ken Griffey Jr. and Nomar Garciaparra, this set will surely stay on collector’s minds for a long time to come.
