With a bit more Flair, collectors have a lot to get excited about with every pack of 2004 Fleer Flair baseball.
As Fleers initial foray into the $100 per pack arena, this product certainly did not disappoint. What they did, however, changed the game and upped the ante significantly.
Seemingly not known for including a plethora of autographed cards in their baseball brands, Fleer kicked it up a notch by not only including different levels of autographs from some of todays biggest stars including Albert Pujols and Greg Maddux, but also included cut autographs of past greats such as Ty Cobb.
Hooray for Fleer!
In addition, Fleer decided to cut to the chase by including 3 game-used cards, 1 autographed card, 1 serial-numbered rookie card and 7 base cards per pack.
Did I mention that each pack comes in its own snazzy pull-out presentation box?
Thanks to our good friends at Fleer, we were able to rip through a randomly selected pack of Fleer Flair and pulled game-used HOT NUMBERS jerseys of Jim Thome (#/18), Vladimir Guerrero (#/175) and Hideo Nomo (#/175). We also pulled an autographed card of Jim Edmonds (#/100).
The assorted base cards yielded a few major stars including Derek Jeter and Randy Johnson.
Overall, this product brings a lot to the table in such a small package. There isnt much fluff as you get 3 game-used, 1 autograph and 1 serial-numbered rookie per pack to go along with just 7 base cards.
The packaging is sexy and the base card design is one of the best that Fleer has come up with in quite some time.
I highly recommend that you pick up a pack or two of 2004 Fleer Flair baseball.
