I mean, everyone wants to pull a LeBron Bowman Chrome rookie. It's just that simple, and who can blame them. With unopened hobby packs selling like hotcakes anywhere between $3-4 per, there is a fair chance that you, or someone you know, will or has already pulled a LeBron James chrome rookie. And believe me when I tell you - it is quite a thrill.
Now, don't get me wrong - this product is tough in terms of collation. The rewards, however, are quite satisfying. A typical pack breaks down like this: 2 chrome, 5 regular Bowman and 1 gold parallel. So, in a box you are "guaranteed" 48 chromes, 120 regular Bowman and 24 gold parallels.
If you are a set builder, you will need to crack multiple boxes of this product to complete one.
As has been the case in all previous Bowman Chrome releases, the certified autographs contained at the end of the set are scorching hot, and tough to pull at that.
Carmelo Anthony's certified autograph appears in the Sign of the Times subset. This card has been selling with ease at $100 per and has showed no signs of slowing down.
As long as the LeBron craze continues to run rampant, you can expect to shell out $80-85 per unopened hobby box. Keep an eye out for the retail version, which should be hitting your local Target and K-Mart shelves real soon.
Kudos to Topps for putting out the finest basketball release of the year thus far.
