CARLSBAD, CA (12/04/03) –The Upper Deck Company has just launched its latest hockey trading card release (2003-04 Upper Deck Series One) and once again it’s chock full of outstanding insert cards. The Upper Deck brand remains a collector favorite of hockey card buffs because the same excellence embodied in Upper Deck’s debut issue is still in effect today.

The excitement that is Upper Deck’s 2003-04 Series One Hockey set is unmatched in star quality with the following insert sets: "500 Goal Club" Game-Used Jersey Cards limited to 500 (autographed "500 Goal Club" Game-Used Jersey Cards numbered to 25), "Big Play Makers" Double-Swatch-Sized Game-Used Jersey Cards, numbered to 50, "Super Saviors" Game-Used Jersey Cards, inserted 1:144 packs, "UD Game Jersey" Game-Used Jersey Cards, inserted 1:96 packs; and "NHL Best" Game-Used Jersey Cards, inserted 1:48 packs.

Inserted exclusively into each Hobby box of 2003-04 Upper Deck Series One Hockey are limited-edition lithogram cards (1:144 packs) as well as much sought-after rainbow foil inserts (various levels).The overall collection includes 198 Regular Player cards, two Checklist cards and a host of stunning inserts.
