Upper Deck Baseball Series 2

Matsui Upper Deck Baseball

As the story goes, Upper Deck just recently released the second series of their benchmark product, Upper Deck Baseball. Now, as redundant as that may look, and sound for that matter, the facts are clear – the basic Upper Deck Baseball product has been it’s most popular brand since inception. From your hardcore hobbyist to the occasional pack-ripper, Upper Deck Baseball has always been the crowd favorite. (You can thank Ken Griffey Jr. for that!)

With last month’s release of 2003 series 2, Upper Deck carries on their fine tradition in issuing a smashing follow-up to series 1. For starters, you can find a rookie card of Yankees sensation Hideki Matsui, which we did in our box. The regular set boasts 270 cards, which includes 30 rookie cards and 10 checklists.

Once again, the price point here is perfect with each pack carrying a suggested retail price of $2.99. There are 24 packs to a box.

In addition to the chance at pulling a Hideki Matsui rookie card, there are 2 game-used memorabilia cards per box, “on average.” We pulled 2 game-used jerseys in our box of Jim Edmonds and Huston Street of Team USA fame.

If you are looking for an affordable, fun pack rip look no further than Upper Deck series 2 baseball.

Here is a sneak peak at the stated odds in 2003 Upper Deck Series 2 baseball:
