The base set, which by the way boasts some of the best photography I have ever seen in any football release, contains 100 cards as well as 100 different rookie cards, each serial-numbered to just 500 copies each. The rookie checklist is a whos who of the upcoming 2003 NFL rookie class including Byron Leftwich, Jesse Palmer and Larry Johnson, just to name a few.
The suggested retail price of a pack of Elite is $3.99, with full boxes containing 20 packs each. We really like this product, as we do most every Donruss/Playoff release, because of the reasonable price point and the top-notch creativity that encompasses every Donruss/Playoff product.
