Luckily for me, the box I opened just happened to be a hot box. Inside were 7 memorabilia cards and 7 serial-numbered inserts. Some of the highlights included a dual-base card of Derek Jeter/Bernie Williams #d to 400, a jersey patch of Manny Ramirez #d to 325, a jersey of Mark Prior #d to 325 and a dual-jersey bat Mark Grace/Luis Gonzalez #d to just 100.
The rookie class, though not as strong as the football product, still contains both a Hideki Matsui and a Jose Contreras, of which I pulled the former.
As far as card design, Prestige baseball contains sharp and colorful action photos and full statistics on the reverse. The checklist is thorough and contains all the games major stars including Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa, just to name a few.
With a suggested retail price of $3.49, this product shouldnt sit on your local dealer shelves for very long.
