Description
- Dozens of different animals are in the plush portion of the line, including blankets and pillows.
- I love the decorative Bearfoot Friends, vintage-looking shoes with a tiny animal tucked inside.
- I can see these being purchased by Boyds Collectors to give to the new babies in their life!
- Plush animals have embroidered eyes and mouth to be safe for little ones.
- Puppy Dumpling was machine washed and dried with absolutely no difference in appearance.
Guide Review - Baby Boyds Plush Animals
The Boyds Collection people know how to have fun and their products show it. Their entry into the Baby Plush market is affordable, cute and safe. I gave it the "baby test", as shown above. Eli is holding the Puppy Dumpling, a 5" roly-poly. He really seemed to like touching the texture, the arms and ears were easy to grasp with little hands. The taste apparently wasn't too bad either!
The line also consists of decorative figures -- Bearfoot Friends, tiny resin Faerietots and wooden looking Wobblees, jointed animals that look like carved wood. Although the plush toys are adorable, it is this part of the line that I would consider more Collectible.
